French Dual Language Immersion Program

Applications for the 2026-27 School Year Open November 1!

Applications submitted after January 31 will be added to the waitlist.

The text 'Apply Online!' is above the monitor.Students in the elementary French dual language immersion program spend 90% of their day learning in French and 10% learning in English starting in kindergarten. The percentage of English increases annually until 50% of the day is taught in French and 50% in English by 5th grade. Students learn to speak, read, and write in French through content, not as a separate course of study. 

  • Elementary French dual immersion is offered at Franklin Elementary School
  • Middle school French dual immersion is offered as an elective at Toll Middle School
  • High school French world language is offered as an elective at Crescenta Valley and Hoover High Schools
